Very early 1800's - Note the Balustrades "railings" on top of both wings - they have been gone for a very long time. Also note flat river stones for sidewalk. They remain leading to the front door but are gone from the sidewalk. Beautiful stones still showing erosion from the river.
During the Rankin ownership 1893 - 1919. Both Thomas Rankin and his second wife passed away while living in this house - both are buried in Sackets cemetery.
