Wallpaper - Master bedroom

When we bought the mansion there was no longer any wall paper in the house. Repairs to the walls had happened 30 years ago and there had been no paper attached.

The first job was to repair the walls - lots of water damage and loss of plaster. We were ever so fortunate to find expert hangers; Steve and Vicki McDonald.

Choosing the type of paper, the color and the pattern can be challenging as there are just so very many available. We focused on the demask pattern and chose the room colors for it - each pattern and colors gives each room a unique feeling.

Wallpaper - Library

Here we stepped out a bit. Vicki had this vision - I have to say it made all of us nervous when just seeing the pattern and trim color BUT when it was on, we really like it. 

We have moved in a couple of antiques such as the secretary on the right which we believe was built right around 1800.

This view is soon to change now under construction are the federal style bookshelves on both sides of the fireplace
